'Sister Wives' finale: Will Season 2

TLC brought its new series"Sister Wives" to a close on Sunday (Oct. 17). The finale centered around the wedding of Kody and fourth wife Robyn and the merging of his family with her three kids. This season saw the introduction and courtship of Robyn, the birth of child no. 13 (Truely) and finally the big wedding.

There was some palpable jealousy amongst the wives regarding the whole shindig -- Janelle and Christine didn't really have receptions, Janelle because her non-polygamous family basically wanted to have nothing to do with the wedding and Christine because she doesn't believe a new wife entering in a polygamous household should have a big reception.

The big scandal of the first half of the finale is that Kody helped Robyn pick out her wedding dress. Robyn didn't want him to tell and he just blurts it out like a stupid, wiggly puppy. The other women are really unhappy about that and we can see how it bothers them.

Things work out beautifully, though, by the time the wedding and reception rolls around. The cameras aren't allowed inside the ceremony, which is a bummer because we were curious to see if it was like any other wedding ceremony, but we understand. At the reception, the sister wives gave Robyn her "welcome to the club" gift -- a claddagh ring, which they all wear too. It was very sweet.

The sister wives seem to have some issues to work through, even though Meri, Janelle and Christine all really like Robyn. It's a big change. We hope TLC brings it back for a second season and that the second season shows the families truly merge by having Robyn and her kids move in to the Brown house where the first three wives and other 13 kids live.

What do you think, "Sister Wives" fans? Are you excited for a second season? What do you think it should showcase?
